Overview
Integrations connect Restaurant OS to POS and booking channels—healthy OAuth and mapping reduce order errors.
When to use this
First connection, token refresh, or diagnosing mismatched items.
Step-by-step
- Start at Settings → Channels & integrations (/integrations/pos or /settings/integrations—they open the same hub). Partner-specific pages (Toast, Square, etc.) may also appear when your rollout includes them.
- Complete provider OAuth in one session; note the confirmation screen.
- Validate a test order across systems after changes.
Tips & best practices
- Item mapping issues often trace to SKU or PLU changes—check recent menu publishes.
Common issues
Orders not landing in POS
Capture integration name, sample order id, and timestamps; include screenshots of mapping screens if visible.
Menu drift after price changes
Republish menu on both sides when SKUs or PLUs change—silent edits are the top cause of mismatched items.
Only one location breaks
Verify the restaurant switcher and location-specific credentials before opening a multi-site ticket.
